Annie and JR head to Washington D.C.to talk to the FCC and save
Chandler from Caleb.He makes it clear it's just business and Annie plans to meet him at the airstrip. She leaves and JR gets a call from Scott in prison, but he won't accept the charges and hangs up.


Ryan returns to David's hospital room. He wonders aloud why he gets to live when so many good people die. He thinks he could take care of things right now if he just pulled out the plug, but he doesn’t want to be like him. Ryan would however, love for David to just give up, but he knows he will pull through. When he does, Ryan hopes David will leave Greenlee alone. Frankie enters the room and they discuss the evils of David Hayward and how they can't let him continue to wreak havoc on the people they care about.

In D.C., JR brings Annie to her hotel room and she realizes it's the exact room where they made love. JR assures her nothing on this trip is personal – it's all business. They start preparing for their meeting with the SEC regarding Caleb. As Annie gets on her laptop, she sees an email informing her Scott sent the divorce papers. She's sad things didn’t work out with Scott, but she's not lost anymore. She knows she has plenty of possibilities. They both note how exciting it will be for her once her divorce is final. JR and Annie say an awkward, tension-filled goodnight and JR walks out the door. Annie starts to undress, but JR can't bring himself to walk away and knocks on the door. Annie answers in her bra and panties and they start to make out history repeats itself.
Outside David's hospital room, Kendall wonders why Greenlee stayed with him all night. Kendall can't understand why she still cares about him. She says David is the reason Zach is dead and stalks off. Ryan finds Greenlee and tells her Erica is out on bail and asks about Kendall. Greenlee says she's angry and she doesn’t blame her. Ryan wants her to leave David's side, but she informs him she is the only one who can make life saving decisions for him. Ryan thinks she should pass that responsibility off on someone else so she can be free of him.
Kendall walks into her house with thoughts of Zach, as Bianca joins her Kendall looks at Zach's photo and Bianca assures her everyone wants to be there for her. Bianca also reminds her sister the people who love her also loved Zach and they want to honor and remember him with her and the boys. She suggests they start planning a memorial service, but Kendall adamantly says no. Bianca tries to change her mind, but Kendall wants her to back off so she can do this her way. Kendall finds the sand dollar from her and Zach's beach and cries. Bianca answers the phone to the California state police who found Zach's bag in the wreckage. Greenlee stops by and tells Kendall she will stick by her whether she likes it or not. Kendall wants to go to California where the crash happened and instructs Greenlee to go with her so she can point out exactly where Zach's plane went down. Greenlee agrees and charters a plane.
Kendall is taken to Zach's crash site by Greenlee she asks about Zach's last actions.Greenlee tells her how he read the letter.I catully like how supportive Greenlee was today.
Kendall and Greenlee find the cave on the beach and Greenlee details her last moments with Zach. Kendall cries, but wants to see where the plane crashed. Out on the beach, Greenlee points out where Zach's plane went down and then consoles Kendall as she breaks down. Back in the cave members of the recovery team hand Kendall Zach's bag. Greenlee walks the men out, as Kendall opens the bag to find some of Zach's clothes and the letter she wrote saying she wanted him. Always. Only him. Greenlee returns to find her friend sobbing. Kendall tells Greenlee Zach came to save her because of David, but also because she asked him to. She beats herself up for making Zach leave when all he wanted was to stay with her and their boys. Greenlee orders her not to blame herself. Kendall says she needs to say goodbye. They head back to the beach where Kendall tells Zach she loves him and throws some flowers into the water.always only you she says!
